Welcome to Missouri Wildflowers Nursery

Since 1984, we've been growing and selling native plants and seeds. Missouri is the genetic origin of our plants, so they are best adapted to states east of the Rockies. View our plants online or visit the nursery just south of Jefferson City, MO.

Shipping Policy:  We ship plant orders via UPS to most states, but we can't send live plant material to Florida or California. Plants are packed in boxes and held in place with shredded paper. Seed can generally be sent throughout the United States. We don't send any of our plants or seeds to other countries as we don't want to be responsible for introducing a species to an area where it could become invasive.

During checkout, you will be asked when you want to receive your order. You can give us a specific date or week, and we'll hang on to the order until the date specified. Otherwise, we'll send it as soon as we can.

New Website Coming Soon

We are migrating to a new web platform asap. If you have any items in your cart or if you have saved carts, you should email the cart to yourself, take a screenshot, write the order down, or proceed to checkout. Carts won't be transferred to the new site, so you'll need to find the items again on the new site. Registered accounts will be migrated to the new site.

The new site will have new features and, hopefully, be easier to search. You will be able to use several options to filter the plant selection, including maximum height, deer resistance, suitability for formal landscaping, edibility, and medicinal uses.

We're excited to make the move and would like to have the site running in the next week or so.
