Height: 18 to 24 inches
Space: 12 to 18 inches

Would this plant do well in a small man made pond? Is it a true water plant or more like Marsh Milkweed, where it needs to dry out?

A:
We've grown it successfully in a shallow man-made pond and in large decorative containers that do not drain. You'll need to keep the crown of the plant at or above the water surface--the roots can be consistently wet, but the plant itself won't do well if it is completely submerged for long periods.
