Ms.
This is a great plant for shady areas. The leaves are beautiful in color and shape. It makes a nice mound, and is great for a ground cover or interspersed with other plants such as hosta.

Q:
How much does Littleflower Alumroot spread? Just wondering how many I'd have to plant to cover a few square feet of garden space.
Asked by:
Emily VanLaeys
- 1/25/2022
A:
It doesn't spread a lot. You could plant them as close as 8 inches to each other to make a dense planting. Otherwise, 12 to 15 inches is suitable, especially if the soil is rich.
