I planted 2 of these in Spring 2020, and they have grown 2 feet and now have flowers. It looks like each of these will bear several flowers this summer. They get around 6 hours of sun a day, and although they like moist soil, it was manageable to keep them moist. The soil they are in is quite clay. I dipped all my plants' roots in Myco Bliss Organic Mycorrhizal Fungi to give them a good start, and I think it helped. These plants are now over 3' tall, having added 2' this season.

Beautiful
I have waited a very long time for this to bloom! I planted it fall 2019. Perhaps it wasn’t getting enough sunlight before. It’s generally 5ft tall, but some stems are 6+ And each top has big clusters of buds. Worth waiting for!

Q:
My plant is finally blooming! How do I go about saving the seeds?

A:
Seed can be picked in September and October. The seed pods are round and fairly good sized. They will turn brown and split open from the top. The seeds are about the size of bb's and can be stored for a year or two. For best germination, sow them by late January or give them a cold, moist stratification for at least a month.
