Description
Lavender flowers are said to resemble the face of a smiling monkey, and they bloom sporadically from June through September. Sharpwing monkeyflower grows best in bright soggy areas. It can spread by rhizome, but typically is not an aggressive plant. Deer usually leave this plant alone.
