Description
As the tallest coreopsis we have in Missouri, Tall Coreopsis may not be the best choice for a formal flower bed. But in large plantings, a colony of tall coreopsis is quite a sight. It is a good wildlife plant, feeding many pollinating insects and birds. Unlike most coreopsis species, tall coreopsis has a brown center instead of yellow.
Uses: meadows, pollinators, showy flowers
Bloom time: July & August
