Description
The orange-yellow flowers are similar to the common dandelion found in yards everywhere, so another common name for this plant is dwarf dandelion. Two-flower Cynthia tolerates a range of conditions, but prefers dappled sunlight and well-drained soil. It has a long bloom period that can range from May through August. The flowers attract a number of pollinators including bees, predatory wasps, butterflies, beetles, and hoverflies. It contains a bitter, white latex that deer and other herbivores are likely to avoid.
Uses: deer resistant, pollinators, showy flowers, drought tolerant, long bloom period
Bloom time: May - August
