Yarrow has soft, fern-like foliage. Because it spreads underground, it can make a nice groundcover in sunny locations--for the same reason, use caution when planting in a flowerbed.
Uses: groundcover, butterflies, showy flowers, deer tolerant

Lovely plant
I had a native edible plants garden and this was in it. Very easy to grow and grew quite well even while being harvested. I plan to get a couple new plants to start in my new location.

Q:
I'm trying to blend natives in with an established non-native garden. I'd rather keep some of the daylilies, although I realize they are not native. I was thinking about growing yarrow with the daylilies, and wondered if you knew of any reason that might be a problem. Thank you.
